Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled General Internist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to ambulatory patients and hospitalized patients, while also supervising and teaching housestaff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical care to ambulatory patients and hospitalized patients
  • Supervise and teach housestaff and students
  • Participate in clinical and educational research
  • Work with institutional staff and administration to attain strategic objectives

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Direct experience managing complex inpatients
  • Interest in teaching and growth in an academic setting
  • Ability to provide effective communication, both verbal and written
