About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Assistant to join our team at CrossCountry Mortgage. As a key member of our loan origination staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of mortgage applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about transactions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Administrative Support: Screen and make calls, book appointments, and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting.
  • Documentation Accuracy: Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator, conducting meetings to coordinate follow-up items.
Requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications: NMLS license or training, proficiency in MS Office, CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred degree in banking or finance.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional office environment and administration or mortgage experience.
