Compliance Analyst Job Description

Burrtec is seeking an experienced Human Resources Compliance Analyst to join its Corporate office in Southern California. As a critical member of the HR team, this role will focus on ensuring the organization's HR practices and policies align with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks in HR processes, focusing on leave management and attendance tracking.
  • Collaborate with employees, managers, and vendors to ensure seamless leave and compliance processes.
  • Create and maintain compliance metrics, providing accurate reports to support organizational goals and adherence to HR standards.
  • Manage attendance point system program to ensure timely compliance and adherence to attendance policies.
  • Research and interpret laws, regulations, and standards related to employment, labor relations, and data privacy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; minimum five years of HR experience with expertise in HR practices, legal rules, and regulations.
  • Three years of experience managing Leave of Absence requests, with knowledge of related procedures and in-depth understanding of federal and state leave laws.
  • Possession of SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification desirable; bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.
