Role Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.

  • Perform installation, testing, maintenance, and replacement of electrical apparatus, circuits, controls, devices, and lighting systems.
  • Diagnose issues in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical apparatus using testing equipment such as meggers, phase rotation testers, circuit tracers, underground locators, and voltage & ohm meters.
  • Set up switches, outlets, and other components of electrical installations.
  • Execute installation or repair of outdoor lighting systems.
  • Install conduits within walls or concealed spaces, and pull insulated wires or cables through these conduits to establish connections between junction boxes.
