About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). As a CAD Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and preparing electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use.
  • Review updated drawings for changes, utilizing computer-aided drafting techniques.
  • Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly and conducting surveys of space.
  • Assist with the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
  • Point of contact for internal and external partners to obtain details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.
  • Collect on-site information and input into database to maintain current building conditions and data.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
