Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Raven Ridge. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of quality management systems, processes, and control measures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including engineering, production, and supplier management, to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization. Your expertise will guide our continuous improvement initiatives, helping to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency. In addition, you will lead audits, inspections, and assessments, analyzing results to formulate robust improvement strategies while generating comprehensive reports for senior management. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and conduct internal and external audits to evaluate quality systems.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.
- Conduct training sessions to promote quality awareness among staff.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years demonstrated experience managing engineers and technicians.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality management within the Aviation & Aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and tools such as ISO 9001, AS9100.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
Compensation
$90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
