Mental Health Therapist for High Acuity Community Team

We are seeking a qualified Crisis Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals and make a positive impact on their lives.
Job Summary
The Crisis Mental Health Therapist provides services in the community to high acuity populations, working closely with the Program Manager to develop policies and procedures, and ensuring agency compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic assessments for patients, documenting outcomes and communicating with primary Chemical Dependency Counselors.
- Develop treatment plans to address suicidal ideation or gestures, using case management as needed to provide follow through and build community support.
- Gather information regarding past mental health services to be used in individual's treatment plan development.
- Refer patients to mental health services prior to or following admission, exchanging information with outside service providers.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures as directed by the Program Director.
Requirements
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, including coursework in psychological diagnostics.
- Up to three years experience in the field (required for Crisis MHT II).
- Four or more years experience in the field (required for Crisis MHT III).
- Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and hold an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License.
