About the Role

This is a senior management position that requires a visionary financial expert with hands-on accounting managerial experience. You will oversee all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Your astute financial management skills will empower you to guide and direct these departments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, while diligently monitoring and reporting variances.
  • Coordinate timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial information necessary for operational management and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over financial transactions and reporting, safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Competencies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They must also possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. In addition, they should have strong performance management skills, ensuring effective leadership and supervision of the accounting group.
