Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing general and vascular examinations using diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid duplex ultrasounds, pulse volume recordings, peripheral vascular arterial studies, and peripheral vascular venous studies.
  • Utilize and optimize the use of all software applications, including the PACS system and echocardiographic reporting system.
  • Maintain ultrasound and lab equipment and examination rooms in proper operating condition.
  • Provide patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with co-workers, visitors, and other staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved RDMS program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R). ARRT (R), (CT) preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer; minimum one (1) year vascular experience.
