Transportation Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Transportation Specialist to join our logistics team at Simco Electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for the transportation and delivery of equipment to customers and vendors using company vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and one year of experience as a driver. You will be required to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and occasionally stand and bend during your workday.

Your responsibilities will include driving company vehicles to conduct pickups and deliveries, loading and packing the vehicles to ensure safe transportation, and reviewing daily paperwork to determine pick-up and delivery locations. You will also establish routes for pickups and deliveries, interact with customers and customer service representatives, and professionally represent Simco Electronics.

Furthermore, you will organize and separate equipment for will call, cash on delivery, and shipment, update the computer system with status updates, and process documentation for accounting, purchasing, and customer service departments.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year. We offer excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. Vacations, sick leave, and paid holidays are also provided.
