Key Responsibilities:
Assess residents and create tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.
Select engaging activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently.
Monitor residents as they engage in assigned activities.
Evaluate and document residents' progress, preparing comprehensive reports.
Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injuries, illnesses, or other challenges.
Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Maintain accurate records of resident care services through regular audits.
Foster collaborative relationships within healthcare teams and contribute to collective efforts.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
Valid New York State License.
Previous experience is advantageous.
