Job Summary:

The Mobile Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for performing mobile mechanical repairs at customer locations, utilizing a mobile service vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative, contract, and scheduled maintenance on customer equipment.
  • Repair basic refrigeration, fuel systems, electrical systems, microprocessors, cooling systems, and general maintenance.
  • Promote and sell mobile service to potential customers.
  • Troubleshoot unit problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area, and handle company tools with care.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow safe work practices and procedures, and respond to suggestions for working safely.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Carrier and Thermo King unit operations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers.
