Job Summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Critical Care Float Pool team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
