Job Description

This position involves working with critically ill children, assessing their condition, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
  3. Transport patients safely using specialized equipment and protocols.
  4. Stay current with latest advancements in pediatric critical care and emergency medicine.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  6. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Alabama RN license or multi-state RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama.
  • ACLS and PALS certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
