Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at the Blood Bank of Delmarva. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for delivering blood products and associated paperwork to our hospital customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver blood products and associated paperwork to customer locations from our main Distribution Center.
  • Ensure safe return of blood products to our Distribution Center in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Occasionally may be required to pick up products from hospital customers for delivery to us.
  • Drive vehicle(s) in a manner compliant with all local, state and federal laws to ensure safe delivery of blood products, mail and supplies between our locations and customers.
  • Perform fueling and general upkeep maintenance of delivery vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of driving and delivery experience in a role that required face-to-face customer interaction.
  • Knowledge of the Delmarva region.

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
