Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a talented Patient Care Technician to join our team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch patient care services.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient care, focusing on direct physical care and basic nursing procedures.
- Support patients with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, and intentional rounding.
- Establish trust with visitors, patients, and their family members through effective communication and empathy.
Requirements:
- Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program required.
- 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry upon hire required.
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months required.
