Job Summary
We are seeking an Evictions Specialist to join our team in Charleston. As a key member of our collection department, you will be responsible for negotiating payoff deadlines and payment plans with residents who are at risk of eviction. You will work closely with attorneys to ensure that all systems are consistent with this information for follow-up, tracking, and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fair housing laws and local real estate regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring resident and attorney performance daily
• Reviewing resident documentation and payment trends regularly
• Communicating with attorneys for continuous updates and reflecting them in Conrex tracking systems
• Reporting any settlement options or court issues to supervisors
• Managing the evictions inbox and responding to emails timely
• Identifying resident payments and communicating with market attorneys

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. A minimum of two years of experience in collections or paralegal services is required. Spanish-speaking skills are preferred but not necessary. You should also have intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment
This position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the day. You may also need to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
