Position Overview

Constellation Health Services is in search of a dedicated Per Diem Hospice Aide to join our esteemed Hospice Program.

Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide essential personal care and support to patients and their families. The Hospice Aide will receive training in safe and effective methods for delivering personal hygiene and grooming services, which encompass bed baths, sponge baths, showering, and hair washing in various settings. These services are prescribed by a physician and administered under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program.
  • Active and valid CNA License.
  • Possession of a current driver's license with the ability to travel within a designated area.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in hospice or home health care is highly preferred.
