Job Title: Case Manager

Join The Salvation Army Central Territory as a Case Manager and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide case management services to clients utilizing The Salvation Army's Pathway of Hope philosophy. As a Case Manager, you will work in partnership with clients and other community partners to provide needed services, including emergency food assistance, case notes, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and work with Pathway of Hope clients to provide case management services
  • Conduct client interviews to assess needs for assistance
  • Network and collaborate with other community agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
  • Prepare reports and statistics as required by The Salvation Army
  • Coordinate the use of volunteers and community service workers to assist with food orders and pantry stocking
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years' prior case work or related experience
  • College coursework in human services preferred
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and the ability to access data systems via a web-based system
  • Administrative skills, including data entry, 10-key, attention to detail, and filing
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken, and ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and use of common fractions and decimals
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong independent judgment
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in an office environment and occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
