Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse on our Resource Team/Float, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings. You will utilize your expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated care to individuals and aggregate groups. Your ability to prioritize patient needs, make sound judgments, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that reflect an understanding of patient needs, cultural diversity, and recognition of patient rights.
  • Monitor patient clinical status, assess for significant changes, and make decisions that reflect sound judgment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Perform venipuncture and start intravenous lines safely.
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • BLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a medical/surgical setting
