Role Summary

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, assertive, and personable Sales Account Manager to take charge of key accounts within our Sales division. This role involves managing significant accounts, which may include national retailers across various categories such as commercial, mass, premium, and specialty.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to embark on a career in account management with a leading consumer brand. You will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts, generating new sales opportunities, and contributing to business growth. This is a full-time position based in our Torrance, CA office, and it is not a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth, volume, and profitability for assigned accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support
  • Design and implement account-specific promotional strategies
  • Develop comprehensive merchandising plans for product launches and promotional events
  • Negotiate favorable business terms
  • Identify opportunities for new account acquisition
  • Act as a brand and product expert, representing simplehuman to customers and buyers
  • Contribute to overall strategic planning initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Intelligent, outgoing, and articulate, with the ability to influence and inspire confidence
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities
  • Proficient in business mathematics
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data/Marketing Analytics, Business Administration, or Engineering from a reputable institution
  • 1-2 years of experience with national retailers is advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel
