Join Our Team of Exceptional Neurologists

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated neurologist to join our team at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Healthcare. As a neurologist at GBMC, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of board-certified neurologists with subspecialty training or interests in various areas, including neuromuscular disease, brain injury medicine, stroke, movement disorders, and headache.

About the Opportunity

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package. You will have the opportunity to develop your practice within your areas of subspecialty interest and participate in teaching residents or program development if desired.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial evaluations and treatments of patients in assigned areas
  • Write standard orders in accordance with hospital policy
  • Discuss physical and/or emotional findings of patients with provider colleagues and practice staff as necessary
  • Evaluate patient progress on a continuing basis and alter treatment modalities as needed
  • Establish medical diagnoses in compliance with contract
  • Make immediate referrals of acute and/or life-threatening patient conditions to emergency department or specialist physician as needed
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification or eligibility
  • Ability to obtain a medical license in Maryland
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and providers
