Key Responsibilities:
As the PIC, you will be tasked with:

  • Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
  • Managing inventory and prescription processing to guarantee efficient service delivery.
  • Supervising both non-sterile and sterile compounding services, ensuring compliance with USP standards.
  • Maintaining necessary licenses and implementing standard operating procedures.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing pharmacy staff to foster a competent team.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Developing and managing quality assurance programs to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
  • A valid Texas State Board Pharmacy License.
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in sterile compounding (5 years preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of USP regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong technical skills related to pharmacy operations.
