Skilled Tradesperson

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Friendship Village Retirement Community. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in resident apartments and throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures in resident apartments and throughout the facility.
• Must have experience using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, conforming to local building codes and regulations.
• Able to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
• Work in a busy, fast-paced environment and believe in quality and making people happy.

Requirements:

• Criminal background check, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, COVID vaccinated, flu vaccinated, and TB test.
