The successful applicant will be a proactive and seasoned Architect, adept at overseeing all phases of project development from conceptual design to final occupancy. Core Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy: Spearhead marketing initiatives to secure projects across Virginia, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia, enhancing our client portfolio and solidifying our reputation for excellence.
  • Project Oversight: Direct both local and remote project teams in delivering high-caliber projects that fulfill client expectations.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations surpassed.
  • Team Coordination: Oversee and synchronize the efforts of engineering teams and other consultants to guarantee seamless project delivery.
  • Financial and Timeline Management: Ensure projects are executed within budgetary constraints and deadlines, upholding a high standard of quality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize extensive knowledge of construction techniques, detailing, specification writing, building code interpretation, and construction administration across all projects.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit exceptional communication and writing abilities, with the capacity to respond adeptly to client needs and collaborate with team members.
  • Office Administration: This role also encompasses managing the operations of the Virginia office, collaborating closely with our main office to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Licensure: Licensed Architect in Virginia (additional licenses in West Virginia and Maryland are advantageous).
  • Experience: At least 12 years of architectural experience, with a strong emphasis on project management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling/rendering software.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Legal Work Status: Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
