Position Summary:
The successful applicant will be a proactive and seasoned Architect, adept at overseeing all phases of project development from conceptual design to final occupancy. This position presents a distinctive opportunity to assume a pivotal leadership role within our organization and may lead to future ownership possibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Spearhead marketing initiatives to secure projects across Virginia, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia, enhancing our client portfolio and solidifying our reputation for excellence.
- Project Oversight: Direct both local and remote project teams in delivering high-caliber projects that fulfill client expectations.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations surpassed.
- Team Coordination: Oversee and synchronize the efforts of engineering teams and other consultants to guarantee seamless project delivery.
- Financial and Timeline Management: Ensure projects are executed within budgetary constraints and deadlines, upholding a high standard of quality.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize extensive knowledge of construction techniques, detailing, specification writing, building code interpretation, and construction administration across all projects.
- Effective Communication: Exhibit exceptional communication and writing abilities, with the capacity to respond adeptly to client needs and collaborate with team members.
- Office Administration: This role also encompasses managing the operations of the Virginia office, collaborating closely with our main office to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Licensure: Licensed Architect in Virginia (additional licenses in West Virginia and Maryland are advantageous).
- Experience: At least 12 years of architectural experience, with a strong emphasis on project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling/rendering software.
- Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Legal Work Status: Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
