The Post Oak Hotel is in search of a dedicated Room Attendant to contribute to the excellence of our prestigious establishment, recognized as the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We value passionate and professional individuals who take pride in providing exceptional experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly respond to requests from guests and collaborate with other departments.
  • Prepare the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas.
  • Access guest rooms in accordance with established procedures, ensuring they are vacant before entry.
  • Make beds and neatly arrange linens. Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items. Restock guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
  • Dispose of trash, used linens, and room service items.
  • Verify that all appliances in the room are present and functioning properly.
  • Vacuum carpets and carry out floor care tasks in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, accidents, or injuries.

Qualifications:

  • Embody our core values of passion, excellence, relevance, collaboration, and integrity.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or cleaning roles.
  • Familiarity with Forbes 4/5 Star service standards is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
    • Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces.
    • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
