Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the meticulous organization and management of carrier pickups along with all necessary documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate discrepancies in shipments, including overages and shortages, and provide necessary documentation for payment processing.
  • Address customer inquiries related to shipments and supply proof of delivery documentation as needed.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels with carriers, ensuring timely updates, addressing questions, and fostering a cooperative relationship.
  • May involve working at the trucker's window, scheduling return goods authorizations (RGAs), overseeing the shipping yard, and creating bills of lading (BOL) using Papervision, along with various other tasks.
  • Lead the staging and loading processes to ensure accurate delivery to the designated carriers.
  • Input data across multiple customer platforms.
  • Generate reports as required for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Experience in logistics or a related field is preferred.
