Physician Assistant

Job Summary:
The Trauma/Acute Care Surgery and Orthopedic Physicians Assistant plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients at Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center. This position requires a skilled and compassionate professional to coordinate patient care, work closely with the medical staff, and contribute to the development of standardized procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to trauma patients, including direct patient care and indirect support to the medical staff.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and quality improvement.
- Assist in the development of standardized procedures and protocols to enhance patient care.
- Work closely with the Trauma Program Director and Trauma Medical Director to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute setting, working with trauma, orthopedic, and ICU patients.
- Surgical and trauma training.
- Current PA license, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
- Auditing ATLS skills desirable.
Pay and Benefits:
