About Inova Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Inova Ambulatory Surgery Centers is seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention/Quality Assurance RN Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care in our ambulatory surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to monitor infection control procedures and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead the development and implementation of performance improvement projects to enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection control and quality improvement best practices
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in infection prevention, quality improvement, and patient safety in a healthcare setting
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing institution, BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
