Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of magnetic resonance imaging scans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests to ensure accurate procedures.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and prepare them for scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
  • Position patients for MRI scans and assist radiologists with procedure performance.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images.
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration and follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
