Job Description:

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Schenectady, New York. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate medical imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of New York
  • 2+ years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
