About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Copy Editor to join our global editorial team at ISMG - Information Security Media Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and editing a wide range of content, including news stories, marketing materials, and educational content. This will involve ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials, as well as suggesting improvements to enhance readability and style.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review and edit written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with writers and editors to suggest improvements and ensure high-quality content.
  • Conduct research to verify facts, dates, and statistics.
  • Assist with the development of editorial policies and style guides.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to ensure seamless content production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in copy editing, preferably in digital media.
  • Advanced writing and editing skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Background in technology and/or cybersecurity industries is a plus.
