Overview:
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Aerospace Safety Systems Engineer at Accord Technologies Inc. This position requires a commitment to working onsite five days a week from the outset. We welcome applicants with any visa status.

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a robust background in ARP4761 standards, particularly in the development of Aircraft level Safety Assessments, including but not limited to AFHA (Aircraft Functional Hazard Assessment), PASA (Preliminary Aircraft Safety Assessment), and ASA (Aircraft Safety Assessment).


Core Competencies:
  • Experience as a system safety engineer or design engineer at the system level (e.g., avionics, fuel systems, flight controls).
  • Familiarity with ARP4754(A) standards in relation to System Safety Assessments.
  • Proficiency in fault tree analysis and numerical probability methods for safety evaluations, including the translation of these analyses into probability requirements.
  • Expertise in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodologies.
  • Experience with common cause analyses, particularly common mode analysis.
  • Strong technical writing capabilities.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of ARP4757H standards.
  • Understanding of avionics, fuel systems, and flight control systems.
  • Familiarity with propulsion and interior systems.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing System-level Safety Analysis documents generated by various teams, including airplane systems, propulsion, and interiors. Training will be provided on specific configuration details and expectations for Safety Assessment documents.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in electrical, aerospace, or computer engineering is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in system safety is required. Knowledge of ARP4754 standards and experience with propulsion and interior systems, as well as avionics systems, is essential.
