We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Ambulatory Infusion Center. As a Patient Care Navigator, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting, prioritizing their needs and ensuring effective and efficient family-centered care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prioritize patient care needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs.
- Facilitate patient flow throughout the infusion center, minimizing wait times and maximizing efficiency.
- Collaborate with families to evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor responses to therapy.
- Provide education to patients and families on care and treatment options.
- Serve as a patient advocate, promoting autonomy and independence.
- Document all aspects of patient care, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN required, BSN preferred).
- A current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse licensure and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- The ability to network effectively with healthcare teams and demonstrate clinical competencies within the specialty area.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
