Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Empty and clean waste receptacles, including trash barrels, and replace liners as needed.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaky faucets.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and cleanup for concerts, plays, and other events.
  • Work collaboratively with other facilities staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform moderately to heavy manual activities.
  • Working knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
