This full-time position involves working with our Clinical Services Supply site in San Diego to perform warehouse and logistics tasks, including coordination, receipt, and storage of clinical trial materials. You'll follow established protocols and work plans, collaborating with other specialists, technicians, or supervisors as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and verify shipments using JD Edwards/MEP ERP software, ensuring accurate handling of small orders and bulk shipments in ambient and refrigerated conditions.
  • Perform final verification at pack-out, verifying and labeling orders accurately.
  • Pick and stage materials for packaging, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory for production staging and distribution.
  • Receive material into the site, enter data into the running receipt log, and complete entries into site inventory systems.
  • Provide inventory-related support for other departments, performing inventory transfers using controlled forms and making material moves in inventory systems with minor assistance.
  • Properly and safely use warehouse equipment, including electric forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, reach trucks, stock pickers, JLG lifts, and aerial work platforms (AWPs).
  • Restock shipping/warehouse supplies, maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse area, and follow safety and manual handling guidelines.
About You

We're looking for an individual with a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, who has 2+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Previous certification using Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment is highly preferred, as is GMP industry experience.

You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, internal and external customer service skills, and be proactive with superior time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and stressful situations is essential, along with problem-solving and solutions-oriented thinking.
