Job Description:
At OPT Industries, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Polymer Formulation Specialist to join our R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing photocurable 3D resin formulations.

The successful candidate will have at least 4+ years of professional work experience in a laboratory setting, with expertise in formulating test batches, characterizing polymer samples, and operating analytical instrumentation such as Viscometer, UV/Vis spectrophotometer, FTIR Spectrophotometer, and DMA. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, ability to work well with peers, engineers, scientists, and functional groups, and be willing to adapt to new processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize photocurable 3D resin formulations
- Characterize polymer samples through chemical and mechanical tests
- Operate laboratory equipment to mix resin formulations under guidance of group chemist
- Perform tests on product to ensure conformance with specifications
- Conduct small-scale experiments for the development of new photocurable polymer products and manufacturing processes

Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
