Diesel Truck & Trailer Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Truck & Trailer Technician to join our team at Reliable Carriers, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
Requirements:
  • SAE or Michigan state certification is a plus, but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck or trailer repair or automotive maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-pressure situations, effectively dealing with drivers and co-workers.
  • Must have prior technical experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer repair or automotive maintenance.
  • Must be willing to learn and help drive new efficiencies in the process.
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and the legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass an initial background and drug test.
  • Must speak fluent English.
