Overview:
Expected compensation for this role is $23.31/hour. Actual remuneration will be based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Certified Medical Assistant will execute assigned clinical and administrative responsibilities in alignment with their Medical Assistant training and expertise.

This role may encompass both clinical and administrative functions within the practice, providing essential clerical support and assisting in healthcare delivery and patient care activities under the guidance of the physician/provider.

The individual will carry out the responsibilities outlined below, tailored to the specific requirements of the practice. In a Rural Health Clinic environment, possession of BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.



Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High School Diploma/GED,

Completion of a medical assistant program or certification from a Guild-certified medical assistant clinical education and applied learning program.

Experience:
N/A

Licensure/Certification:

Current certification as a CMA-Certified Medical Assistant from one of the following recognized certifying bodies:

- American Medical Technologists (AMT), RMA credential.

- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), NCMA credential.

- National HealthCare Association (NHA), CCMA credential.

- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), CMA credential.

Other Skills/Knowledge:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
