Job Summary

ATC Travelers A is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting any potential risks or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of current acute care OR experience required.
  • Proficient in scrub and circulate roles, with experience in ophthalmology (eye) cases, orthopedic, spine, and variety (GYN, bariatrics, general surgery, plastics, and urology) cases.
  • Current experience with eyes, particularly cataracts with lens implant folding and placement, and retina including vitrectomy required.
  • DaVinci Xi robot experience preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • Scrub and circulate required.
