Belmont Village is seeking an experienced On-Call Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As an On-Call LVN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, supporting wellness initiatives, and communicating with healthcare practitioners.
Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and support wellness initiatives to promote the health and well-being of our residents.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, and pharmacies to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Supervise and oversee Medication Technicians and Caregivers to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
• Follow up on physicians' orders and report changes in residents' conditions to ensure timely interventions.
• Update and review resident medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• Active LVN or LPN license in the state where the position is located.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in verbal and written English to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to ensure 24/7 care coverage.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills to navigate electronic medical records and other software systems.
Preferred Skills:
• Flexible, dependable, and self-directed to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to motivate and guide staff to deliver exceptional care.
• More than one year of medication management experience to ensure expertise in this critical area of care.
