Are you passionate about empowering students with disabilities to succeed in higher education? Easterseals Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated College Navigator to join our team
Job Summary:The College Navigator will provide on-campus and virtual support to college students with disabilities as they navigate campus life and adjust to college. This role requires on-site availability to local colleges in the Northeast area of Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized action plans to support students' academic and personal goals.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to students to develop executive functioning skills, such as time management and organization.
- Collaborate with college staff to identify potential barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure equal access to educational opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with students with disabilities and knowledge of disability support services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
