Job Description

Job Summary:

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software releases.
  • Lead the development of automation tools and infrastructure to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software releases, including regression testing and performance testing.
  • Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing strategies remain current and effective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA and automation development.
  • Strong experience writing UI/API smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, C/C++, Java, and scripting languages.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and cluster management.
  • Proficiency in devising test strategies, crafting comprehensive test plans, and proficiently conducting tests.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, Linux, and bug logging.
  • Proficiency in building test setups and strong hardware and software triage skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of testing and validating large-scale cloud infrastructure and/or distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with various cloud technologies such as Cloud Stack, Open Stack, Mesos, and Kafka, as well as containers like Docker.
  • Understanding of virtualization infrastructure software like HyperV and KVM.
  • Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.
