Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software releases.
- Lead the development of automation tools and infrastructure to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Conduct thorough testing of software releases, including regression testing and performance testing.
- Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing strategies remain current and effective.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA and automation development.
- Strong experience writing UI/API smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Strong knowledge of Python, C/C++, Java, and scripting languages.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and cluster management.
- Proficiency in devising test strategies, crafting comprehensive test plans, and proficiently conducting tests.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, Linux, and bug logging.
- Proficiency in building test setups and strong hardware and software triage skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of testing and validating large-scale cloud infrastructure and/or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with various cloud technologies such as Cloud Stack, Open Stack, Mesos, and Kafka, as well as containers like Docker.
- Understanding of virtualization infrastructure software like HyperV and KVM.
- Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.
