As a Procedural Technician, you will play a vital role in creating an optimal environment for patients undergoing invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. Your expertise in sterile and aseptic technique, human anatomy, and implementation tools and technologies will enable you to facilitate complex procedures with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain competency to scrub procedures, practicing aseptic technique, sterile technique, and universal precautions.
  • Maintain and acquire knowledge of instruments, including identification, proper use, and appropriate decontamination/sterilization.
  • Practice under the direct supervision of the procedural team and within the scope of practice of a Procedural Technician.

You will consult and collaborate with colleagues to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care. Your commitment to lifelong learning and self-identification of learning needs will enable you to maintain skills and competence in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

Credentials and Education:

A C-CCORT, CST, or SURGTECH certification is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. One year of Operating Room experience is preferred.
