Brinkman Precision, Inc., a reputable manufacturer specializing in precision aerospace machining, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for the first shift.


Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for auditing both purchased and manufactured products throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with stringent standards of craftsmanship, dimensional accuracy, and traceability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections, including First Article, In-Process, Receiving, and Final Inspections.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies; familiarity with Gage R&R is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Understand AS 9100 and ISO 9001 documentation standards; knowledge is preferred but not essential.

Required Qualifications:

A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with relevant experience in a precision machining environment. Proficiency in using dimensional measurement tools such as micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators is essential. The ability to interpret dimensional drawings and a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is necessary. Previous experience with both contact and non-contact metrology equipment is a plus but not required.
