We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse II to join our Emergency Department team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring a safe and effective patient experience.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing and current RN licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
