Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Associate. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including the removal of debris and spills, and the proper disposal of waste.
  • Collect and return shopping carts to their designated areas, ensuring that the store remains tidy and organized.
  • Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to company policy, with a focus on refrigerated and perishable items.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Dress and groom according to company policy, including uniform, name badge, and hat or hair restraint requirements.
  • Utilize and maintain equipment as required by the department, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Complete all applicable department training programs and adhere to company shrink guidelines.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.
