The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking an Optometrist to join our team in Stockton, CA. As a member of our healthcare system, you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care to our unique Veteran population.

Key Responsibilities

The Optometrist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating refractive conditions, binocular functions, ocular diseases and conditions, ocular complications of systemic disease, etc. This will include conducting clinical evaluations such as medical and ocular history, visual acuity measurement, pupillary function testing, color vision testing, extraocular muscle function and binocularity testing, refractive and accommodative testing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry degree and be licensed to practice in the state of California. They will also have experience in providing direct patient care and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
