Dog Care Specialist

About the Role:

This part-time Dog Care Specialist position is based in Charlotte, NC and requires working one of two shift times: 6:30 am - 12:30 pm or 12pm - 6:30 pm.

A weekend shift (6:30am-9am or 3:30pm-6:30pm) is also required each week.

This role involves interacting with dogs in our outdoor play yard, supervising play groups, cleaning up after dogs, crating, feeding, and bringing dogs to-and-from owners.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing exceptional care to our canine friends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Caring for and supervising play groups of dogs according to the latest science-based dog behavior and training knowledge received during training.
  • Working as a team member with others and management in providing dog daycare, sleepover, and Stay & Play services.
  • Cleaning duties such as cleaning up dog waste, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, cleaning crates and occasionally bathing dogs.

We offer competitive pay, estimated at $15.50 per hour, and opportunities for advancement within the company based on initiative and progression through each knowledge and skill level.
