Job Title: School-based Behavioral Health Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate School-based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Woodfords Family Services.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that supports a 12-year-old male at Turner Elementary School. As a School-based Behavioral Health Professional, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop individual goals related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion.
  • Use evidence-based practices to foster a therapeutic, enriching, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and supportive approach to the child's education and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or a related field.
  • Ed Tech III eligibility required, with a minimum of 90 college credits.
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords).
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $22.00/hour, commensurate with experience.
  • $1,500 Sign-on Bonus, paid after 6 months of employment.
